Stephan\u2019s journey into literature began as a child staring at an intriguing rectangular object, containing layers of printed paper bound together. At each opening, its core released remarkable accounts of distant mystical realms and fantastic quests taking life through a loving mother\u2019s serene, spirited voice. A piece of memory, a glimpse of mysterious symbols that only the affectionate adult could decipher. An enthralling moment in time triggering a lifelong journey through a multiverse of places, experiences, people, and emotions. Over the years, it grew into an endless thirst which, eventually, could only be satiated by teaching the child to read. And then, the multiverse widened exponentially. But it made the thirst increase equally, like Tantalus\u2019s torment. Until one thought overcomes the mind. Why keep remaining just a passive observer instead of seizing control and becoming the creator by forging new worlds, devising new quests? Along with conveying and sharing thoughts, ideas, and perspectives. In short, exercising the power of the mind. Here lies the ultimate challenge, the final frontier. Which is what this is all about.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Et la science-fiction prit ainsi forme. Un autre souvenir d'une chaude nuit d'\u00e9t\u00e9 dans le parc d'un ancien manoir du sud-ouest de la France (le Ch\u00e2teau Enchant\u00e9). Parmi un groupe de scouts, le m\u00eame enfant quelques ann\u00e9es plus tard (l'Apprenti), inspectant avec f\u00e9brilit\u00e9 le manteau d\u2019\u00e9toiles enveloppant le ciel \u00e0 travers les lentilles d'un t\u00e9lescope sophistiqu\u00e9 (la Baguette Magique). Sous le regard bienveillant d\u2019un aristocrate philanthrope et astronome fanatique (le magicien). \u00ab Contemplez les crat\u00e8res de la Lune. Et l\u00e0, d\u00e9couvrez Mars, V\u00e9nus et Jupiter. Observez la Voie Lact\u00e9e, les Constellations d'Orion, de Cassiop\u00e9e et du Taureau\u2026 \u00bb La Magie et la Science ne forment plus qu'un. Les anciens dieux et h\u00e9ros se transforment en corps c\u00e9lestes peuplant le ciel profond. L'Univers se r\u00e9v\u00e8le : une agr\u00e9gation infinie d'autres mondes, d'autres formes de vie et, qui sait, d'autres \u00eatres sensibles. Mais, la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 revient rapidement. Ces merveilles ne peuvent \u00eatre atteintes qu'\u00e0 travers le champ de vision limit\u00e9 d'un pitoyable instrument. Le Divin est hors de port\u00e9e, les capacit\u00e9s restreintes de l'homme le pr\u00e9servant avec m\u00e9pris. D\u00e9ception. Frustration. Abandon. C\u2019est quand tout semble perdu, qu\u2019\u00e9merge le pouvoir de l'esprit, illimit\u00e9, tout-puissant. Une puissance permettant de voyager \u00e0 travers l'espace et le temps \u00e0 sa guise, de fusionner la magie et la science, d'explorer ces nouveaux mondes et ces civilisations lointaines, et d'appr\u00e9hender des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s diff\u00e9rentes. Le multivers s'\u00e9tend. C'est aussi de cela qu'il s'agit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Mais, le cheminement d'une vie vers ses d\u00e9sirs n'emprunte pas in\u00e9luctablement une ligne droite. Il r\u00e9sulte de l\u2019\u00e9ducation d\u2019une famille sp\u00e9cifique, mais \u00e9galement de l\u2019enseignement inculqu\u00e9 \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole, au coll\u00e8ge et \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9. Un chemin sillonn\u00e9 par l'amour, l'amiti\u00e9, la trahison, la tristesse et la joie. Vingt-cinq ans pass\u00e9s \u00e0 arpenter le monde, \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir d'autres lieux, d'autres merveilles, d'autres modes de vie, et rencontrer et assister d'autres personnes. Le multivers, encore une fois.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Les errances de Stephan ont d\u00e9sormais atteint les c\u00f4tes \u00e9cossaises. Un nouveau d\u00e9part, une nouvelle aventure dans un pays sculpt\u00e9 par la nature, l'histoire, les l\u00e9gendes et les contes populaires. Un pays rugueux, peupl\u00e9 de personnes chaleureuses. Le lieu id\u00e9al pour inspirer des romans ambitieux.<\/p>
